    We believe that shish kebab is a dish that was presented to us by Caucasians. This statement is incorrect, because many nationalities baked meat on coals. Therefore, it is difficult to say with certainty which national cuisine the barbecue belongs to. In Rus', such meat was called "turned", because. cooked it on a spindle. One has only to note that meat cooked on fire was the very first dish that primitive people made, and already in the process of evolution and development, various ways of cooking it appeared.


    • Pork (pulp, it is better to give preference to the neck) - 500 g;
    • Onion (large) - 1 piece;
    • Tomato paste - 2 teaspoons;
    • Mustard - 1 teaspoon;
    • Vegetable oil (sunflower or olive) - 2 tbsp. spoons;
    • Seasoning for cooking barbecue - to taste;
    • Salt is optional.


    1. Before proceeding with the implementation of the meat recipe - pork skewers in the oven in foil, we will prepare the appropriate ingredients according to the list presented. As for the main ingredient - pork - it is better to take a neck or loin. These parts of the pork carcass are great for frying barbecue not only in the oven at home using foil, but also on the grill. Meat for homemade barbecue should be defrosted in advance. We take onions familiar to most hostesses - onions. You will also need tomato paste, mustard, vegetable oil and spices for barbecue. Our recipe uses a special seasoning designed for marinated kebab meat pieces, which can be easily purchased at any grocery store. If such a seasoning is still missing at the time of the sale of the pork meat dish, you can simply take ground black pepper, ground paprika. Now a little about kitchen utensils: you should prepare a cutting board, a sharp knife, a marinating bowl, foil, a heat-resistant form. Now that everything you need is prepared, you can start.

    2. We take a piece of pork that is suitable in size and quality. Rinse it under cool water, dry it immediately using paper towels. We transfer the meat to the cutting surface and cut it into fairly large pieces-pieces.

    8. Well, now you can send the form with the future barbecue to the oven. We distribute the time and temperature as follows: the first stage of baking - at 200 degrees - 30 minutes, the second stage - at a temperature already reduced to 180 degrees - another 30 minutes. Moreover, at the second stage, the foil should be unfolded, i.e. the pieces should be browned.
