This is how the Korean immigrants invented it, and this is how it has come down to us since 1937, the year of its birth. Today, Korean carrots are also most often found without onions, and that is why we chose such an unusual, but rest assured, a very successful combination. So, Korean carrots with onions is our recipe.

    Ingredients:

    • Carrots - 0.5 kg.
    • Bulb onions - 1 pc.
    • Vegetable oil - 100 ml.
    • Vinegar (9%) - 1 tbsp. l.
    • Sugar - 1 tbsp. l.
    • Garlic - 5 cloves
    • Ground red hot pepper - 1/2 tsp.
    • Salt - 0.5 tsp
    • Coriander - 1 tbsp l.
    • Sweet paprika - 1 tsp

    Preparation:

    1. Prepare the ingredients.

      First of all, we will prepare the necessary products

    2. Grate carrots in Korean style. Before that, you need to clean it.

      We peel the carrots and rub them on a special grater

    3. What makes carrots special? Spices. Grind salt, sugar, coriander seeds, sweet paprika with red ground pepper in a mortar.

    4. Onions need to be cut as you like - slices, cubes, rings, it will not be used in the salad itself.
