There are many variations of its preparation, we did not choose a classic recipe. Our guacamole will be spicy, tender and very tasty. But at first we will say a few words about the history of this wonderful salad-sauce-appetizer.

    History of the dish

    Guacamole comes from two words "ahuaca + mulli", which is literally translated from the local Nahuatl language as avocado + sauce. Accordingly, we are dealing with avocado sauce. At the time of the Spanish conquistadors, guacamole was called "the butter of the poor." The recipe, created many centuries ago, has not changed today, although over the years it has undergone some improvements. Today it is an appetizer or dip, made from mashed or steamed avocado with tomato, cilantro and lime juice.

    The rest of the ingredients may vary depending on the region or the preference of the chef. One thing is invariable - guacamole should always have a thick consistency. According to historical data, the classic guacamole with avocado was invented by the Aztecs around the 16th century. This sauce was extremely popular for its high fat content and exceptional properties. We will certainly talk about the benefits of the dish. In the meantime, in more detail about the recipe for guacamole with avocado in its classic version.

    Ingredients:

    • Haas avocado - 2 pcs.
    • Lime or lemon juice - 1/2 pc.
    • Tomatoes - 1 pc;
    • Blue onion - 1/2 pc
    • Chili dry or chili - to taste
    • Black pepper - to taste
    • Salt to taste

    How to make guacamole:

    1. First, let's start preparing the necessary products;

    2. Wash the avocado and cut it into halves;

      We cut the washed avocados along

    3. Using a knife, take out the bone;

      We prick the bone on the knife and carefully remove it

    4. Using a spoon, take out the pulp of the fruit;

    5. With a fork and, if possible, a wooden one, turn the avocado into a paste;

    6. Squeeze lemon juice into avocado;

    15. Serve avocado guacamole with tortillas, as is customary. It turns out a nachos snack of chips with dip sauce.

      As usual, such a dip sauce should be served along with traditional Mexican corn tortillas. This is delicious!
