We continue our delicious story and today we bring to your attention the Grissini recipe. What is this grisini thing? And this is nothing more than ordinary bread. Grissini sticks are traditional bread sticks that are very similar in size and shape to a pencil. The dough from which bread Grissini is prepared is made in butter or vegetable oil. Sometimes eggs and even malt are also added to it.

    History of the dish

Grissini bread strips were first prepared around the 14th century in Turin and since then they have been baked everywhere, first in Italy, and then throughout the world. There are several legends, one of which says that this type of bread was invented for an obese prince.

According to another version, the Italian Grissini is the result of the cunning and economy of the merchants. At one time in Piedmont, there was a strong shortage of bread and they even began to sell it by the piece, and in order to earn more, the size of the loaves was greatly reduced. Which of these versions is true is not known for certain, and it does not matter to us. We love grissini and cook them with pleasure and wish you the same. And we will not wait any longer and offer the recipe itself - we prepare grissini sticks together.

    The benefits of the dish

Is bread good for you? There are a huge number of opinions and they are all different. Only one thing can be said for sure - any bread made from white flour will not be as useful as the same one made from whole grain or bran. The same statements directly apply to grissini sticks as in the photo, which we are talking about today. For a special healthyness, grissini can also be prepared with sourdough and the taste is unlikely to suffer from this.

We offered a classic recipe according to which grissini sticks are prepared in the same way with cheese and garlic. Tasty!!!! And what delicious bread do you cook ??? We will gladly take your advice and cook according to your recipe. We look forward to meeting you on the pages of HozOboz!
