    History of the dish

Grape pie is an extremely important part of the harvest festival in the Finger Lakes region of the United States of America. Grape pie even has its own capital, and that's Naples! But not that famous southern Italian city, full of noisy people and bright colors, delicious pizza and fragrant coffee, but a tiny town of the same name, located in Ontario County in the state of New York. When the annual Grape Festival takes place in Naples, grape pie in completely different variations can be bought in almost any store in the city, to say nothing of cafes and restaurants - grape pie has become a signature dish there.

Grape pie is not only a regional New York delicacy, but also an essential part of the traditional cuisine of German migrants in the United States. They have been making this pastry since the end of the nineteenth century, and according to a recipe that is much more complex than HozOboz offers today. We just put the grapes on the dough, and they first free each grape from the skin, then boil the pulp for a long time, and then separate the grape seeds. Such a long process can be exciting, but not in our time, when everyone is in a hurry somewhere. Therefore, HozOboz offers a simple and easy-to-make grape pie recipe. We are sure you will definitely like it! And cook, and, of course, eat it.
