    History of the dish

Fruit smoothies have been around for almost as long as fruit. In different countries at different times, people came up with the idea of mixing monopure (puree from one fruit) with each other, diluting them with liquid. Fruit smoothies in a blender began to be mixed much later after the advent of this wonderful technical invention.

    Ingredients:

    • Apple juice - 1 cup (200 ml)
    • Kiwi - 2 pcs.
    • Banana - 1 pc.
    • Pear - 1 pc.
    • Sugar - optional
    • Mint - for decoration

    Cooking plan

    1. To make a fruit smoothie at home, you need fruit and a blender. The recipe is so simple that there is nothing special to write. As a basis, you can take both fat milk - 2.5% or 3.5% fat, and light juices (apple, grape) or even ordinary drinking water.

Prepare the ingredients for making a fruit cocktail.

    2. A smoothie or milkshake is easiest and quickest to make with an immersion blender or food processor. The most time-consuming part is preparing the fruit for chopping. Peel the pears with a thin knife or vegetable peeler, remove the core and cut into large cubes.

We clean the pear from the peel and stalk and chop coarsely.

    3. Peel the kiwi fruit with a thin knife and cut them into large cubes. For a fruit cocktail, it is better to choose already soft fruits, since ripe soft kiwis contain much more natural sugar, and the drink will be not only beautiful, but also tasty.

We clean and coarsely cut the kiwi.

    4. Peel a large banana and chop coarsely. You can even break it with your hands if you don’t have a knife at hand.

Peel the banana and chop it coarsely into pieces.

    5. We shift the prepared fruits - coarsely chopped banana, kiwi and pear - into a blender bowl or a deep bowl. We beat the fruit cocktail in a blender at first at low speed, then gradually increase the speed of the knife and beat until a homogeneous puree-like consistency. This will take approximately 1-1.5 minutes.

Whisk the ingredients in a bowl until smooth fruit puree.

    6. Pour apple juice into the blender bowl. If it happens that the fruit for the cocktail is underripe or you just like sweets, at this stage you can add sugar to the drink, because 1-2 tablespoons will not change its usefulness much.

Add apple juice to fruit puree.

    7. Immerse the blender again and beat everything together for another 2 minutes. The drink becomes more liquid, which was required to be obtained. Fruit milkshakes are prepared in the same way, but it is better to reduce the whipping time to 1 minute, as a lot of foam is formed.

Again, grind and combine the ingredients with a blender for 1.5-2 minutes.

    8. Pour the resulting vitamin drink into glasses. Fruit shake glasses are best chilled before use, or use food ice. Cubes can simply be thrown into glasses with a drink. This way your drink will stay cool for a longer time.

Pour the fruit cocktail into glasses for serving. You can add ice.

    9. We finish the preparation of a fruit cocktail by decorating glasses with a drink. As a rule, they are decorated with pieces of those fruits that were used in the preparation of the cocktail. We insert kiwi circles on the walls of the glass, decorate with fresh mint and add a cocktail tube.

We insert a cocktail tube into the drink. We decorate the glasses with a circle of kiwi and mint.

    10. So our refreshing, healthy, tasty and beautiful drink is ready. Now that you know how to make a fruit smoothie, making a vitamin bomb for yourself or your kids is easy.

Fruit smoothie is ready to serve.

    The benefits of the dish
