You probably won’t surprise anyone with cutlets, but chopped cutlets are a different matter. Far from everyone cooks these, and not because it is not tasty, but because it is quite troublesome. It is much easier to just twist the meat than to cut it into small pieces and create chopped cutlets. But we will talk about the cooking process itself later, but for now a little history.

    History of the dish

    Chopped cutlets are products made from finely chopped or chopped meat with special hatchets. I would like to separately stop on the methods of felling. You can finely chop the meat with a knife. You can also bring the meat into a minced state with a chop hammer. As a rule, larger-sized products can be made from coarsely chopped or minced meat than, say, from minced meat. So a chopped cutlet is usually about 10 cm long, and sometimes it reaches 5 cm in width. There are also giant cutlets, and the most famous example is kebab. But today we will not talk about him, but about another no less tasty dish - we are talking about chopped breast cutlets.


    • Chicken fillet - 1 pc.
    • Onion - 1 pc.
    • Chicken egg - 1 pc.
    • Mayonnaise - 2 tbsp. l.
    • Flour - 2 tbsp. l.
    • Hard cheese (such as Parmesan) - 50 g.
    • Salt - to taste
    • Ground black pepper - to taste
    • Vegetable oil for frying

    How to cook

    1. To cook chopped chicken breast cutlets, we need the following ingredients.

      To begin with, we will prepare all the products necessary for cutlets

    2. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces.

      Now cut the meat into small pieces

    3. Add finely chopped onion to the meat.

      Now that the chopped minced meat is ready, add finely chopped onion

    4. Next, add flour.

      Pour flour

    5. Add mayonnaise, because we are preparing chopped cutlets with mayonnaise.

      Given the fact that our chopped cutlets with mayonnaise, it's time to add this same mayonnaise

    6. Rub the cheese and put it in a bowl with other ingredients.

      In the meantime, rub the cheese into minced meat

    7. The final touch - add the egg.

      And now it’s time to add an egg

    8. Mix everything. Add salt and pepper to taste. We put in the refrigerator for half an hour.

      Do not forget to season the cutlets and add salt and pepper, and then send the minced meat to the refrigerator

    9. Spread the minced meat with a tablespoon on a frying pan heated with vegetable oil.

      Cooled minced meat should be put on a hot frying pan with a spoon and fry in vegetable oil

    10. When the cutlets are fried, turn over to the other side so that they are browned.

      After frying the cutlets on one side, turn them over and fry on the other side until golden brown

    11. Chopped chicken breast cutlets are ready. Enjoy your meal!
