    History of the dish

    Speaking about this dish, we immediately note its main ingredient - Chinese cabbage. Without this product, the proposed salad will no longer be the same and will turn into a completely different dish. So, Beijing cabbage and what does it have in common with the one that we are all used to seeing on our table - white cabbage. The first and most important thing that unites them is the name, and perhaps even poured leaves. This is where the similarities end and the differences begin. Beijing cabbage was invented in China many thousands of years ago. When you see it for the first time, it really seems like it's just a leaf lettuce. However, it's still cabbage. It is cooked in very different ways: boiled, stewed, baked and even fried. Today we will eat raw cabbage and even more, we will prepare a salad where Beijing cabbage, corn, an egg and fresh herbs will fall, but we will not use crab sticks.


    • Chinese cabbage - 400 g
    • Egg - 3 pcs.
    • Onion - ½ pc.
    • Canned corn - 200 g
    • Fresh parsley - to taste


    • Olive oil - 3 tbsp.
    • Ground black pepper - 1/3 tsp
    • Salt - 1 tsp
    • Garlic - 1 clove
    • Lemon juice - 2 tbsp.


    1. Clean and wash vegetables and herbs.

      First of all, prepare all the vegetables

    2. Put the eggs to boil until cooked, drain the water and clean the shells.

    3. Cut Chinese cabbage into small cubes.
