Hello our dear cooks. We are pleased to bring to your attention another culinary masterpiece - classic Caesar salad. I want to draw your attention right away and warn you that there will be no meat, seafood and other additives in it - this is the most classic version with leaves, crackers and, most importantly, branded sauce. Based on it, you can cook a Caesar salad with chicken, both classic and with peppercorns on your own, and the same option with shrimp and other delicious treats. For now, a little history.

    History of the dish

I am sure that it seems quite obvious to everyone to whom this salad owes its worthy name. But they didn’t guess if they thought that we were talking about the famous commander and emperor. This Caesar is called the name of its creator - the chef of Italian origin Caesar Kartin. This culinary genius lived and worked in the USA, or rather in Tijuana, where he created this famous masterpiece on July 4, 1924 in one of his restaurants. Like all great discoveries, Caesar salad is the fruit of hopelessness.

He appeared on the US Independence Day when there was really nothing to serve on the table, and the guests shouted: β€œfood”. Then the cook came up with a trick and brought salad leaves with eggs and olive oil to the tables and ordered the visitors to take it by the stalks and put it whole in their mouths in turn. Later, the chef's brother added anchovies to the salad, which today are considered an indispensable ingredient and are emulsified with olive oil. Culinary critics then called this salad the best American recipe in the last 50 years. Since then, he has not lost his popularity at all, and today we have prepared a recipe that will tell you how to make a classic Caesar salad.
